Order & Chaos

Visual Design
This project aims to depict the relationship between order and chaos through a composition of form and typography.
Chaos Theory
represents a universe which is deterministic, obeying the fundamental physical laws, but with a predisposition for disorder, complexity and unpredictability.

This actualizes itself within the designs where order is represented in organized and unadulterated elements, whereas chaos is represented in those which are warped. The methods used to warp the chaotic features were meant to demonstrate this concept of unpredictability, drawing inspiration from fractal geometry.
The deliverables come in the form of a poster design. I wanted to pay homage to the fractal design posters made in the 1980’s which brought Chaos Theory to the homes of millions. The mesmerizing visuals represent a fascinating marriage between mathematics and design.
